Caveats
All data provided to SuperMAG is rotated into a local magnetic coordinate system
and baselines are removed. This means that SuperMAG data are not identical to
data provided by the original source. Where users require data as measured by
the originator, in the original reference frame, these data should be obtained
directly from the collaborators listed on the front page:
supermag.jhuapl.edu.
Despite comprehensive and time consuming data correction and validation
SuperMAG does not guarantee the quality of the data. The user is encouraged
to validate the data before using them in publications.
